As Christians we believe in a linear time. But have you ever wondered what it would be like to believe in cyclical time? Well then imagine yourself there. First it starts out with you thinking-what is my life if I live, die, or end up as nothing? All seems a bit meaningless right? once you die, you are done with your life, you have no more to it. Wouldn’t you feel a little bit like your life had no other meaning but to live and die and be gone, forever? By thinking this way, your life could end up in a pretty sad condition. So, that’s one reason it’s important to tell people the truth and what you believe in. Now imagine you are the person who just got told the truth and you really believe it! It’s true! You now have a life filled with joy, you have someone to rely on, to believe in, to help you. Well where should you start!?! Easy- pray, ask, do, and look forward to living in the most perfect place- heaven! Now you have some where to go after you die! A-ma-zing!!! So, keep a look out for people who need that encouragement! Ask, talk, and live in the life prepared for you! 

What is YOUR world view? What capital do you own? This could be organization, entrepreneurship, knowledge, goodwill, or management. But, what f you saw your world and your capitals in cyclical time? What damage would that do in your life? My world view is linear time, and my capital is my family, my house, my things, my kitten, and my friends, all this capital is from the grace of God. This makes me a happier person and increase my goodwill capital. My world view could decrease my capital if i had one life. I want to make the most out of this one life by being comfortable with it. It would be me, me, me and I would try to have stuff to make a perfect life. This would decrease my goodwill capital.

One Thing I’d Change About The World

People in our world can have mean and cruel hearts. If I could change something, I’d change the cruelness in people’s hearts to perfect love. I’d put a stop to the horrible things that people do out of cruelness. I know there is a lot of other things I could change but one thing I feel passionate about is how people treat cats. It doesn’t feel fair how the world treats cats. Some people believe that cats are from hell! Let’s not follow in their tracks because cats are just here to be themselves, and kittens are innocent. Some people are just out there to kill cats because of their cruel hearts. Lets join the team of saving cats! https://www.alleycat.org/ lets think about these poor kitties and put yourself in their shoes/paws. Mostly I wish the world would be perfect but it can’t because sin entered it. So I want to make sure as many people know about Jesus, to help mend cruel hearts.

The impact of the compass in China and Europe

The reason that the compass did not take off in China as it did in Europe is because the Chinese were using it as an object they used to “tap into the spiritual realm”. As for Europe, they used it for navigation and thought it was, well, revolutionary! China also used the compass to harmonize their buildings according to feng shui. The early compasses were made with Loadstone, China discovered that if Loadstone was suspended so it could turn freely, it would always point north toward the magnetic pole.
Even though the Europeans discovered the compass quite a bit later on, they put it to use for navigation and it became a very popular tool. Now, the Chinese did discover the compass, but Europe used it in a way of navigation which became more popular. So, while China discovered the use of the compass first, Europe used it in a way that became much more popular. And, that is how the compass came to be used in both China and Europe!

Simple machines

My family has made a pulley system for lifting firewood up our steep hill so we can stack it and use it for firewood in the winter.
To make our pulley system, we first went to a store to buy all the materials we’d need. We bought- a bucket, two pulleys (one big one little), a carabiner, and some rope. Next, we went home and tied some rope to the handles of our bucket and hitched it to the carabiner. Then we attached the carabiner to another rope that was connected to a small pulley.

We strung a rope from the top of the hill to the bottom of the hill where the wood was. We then attached the bucket and the smaller pulley to the rope so that it would slide across it.

Finally, we attached a rope to the bucket and used it to pull the system up the hill with the help of a larger pulley at the top of the hill.
